FatPirate Hub collects minimal personal data. We use cookies for analytics and affiliate-link tracking. You can opt out at any time. This page covers what we collect, why, who we share it with, and your GDPR rights.

What data we collect

FatPirate Hub is an editorial publication, not an operator. We do not collect: real names, government IDs, financial accounts, payment information or KYC documents. We collect only what is needed to run an editorial site:

  • Server logs: IP address, browser user-agent, referrer URL, requested URL, HTTP status, timestamp. Retained 30 days, then aggregated and anonymised.
  • Analytics: page-view counts, time-on-page, scroll depth, device class (mobile/desktop/tablet) via our own first-party tracker. No cross-site profiling.
  • Affiliate clicks: when you click a tracked link to FatPirate, our redirect logs the click for commission attribution. No personal data is forwarded; only a campaign identifier.

Cookies

We use the following cookies:

  • PHPSESSID - session cookie, expires on browser close. Required for basic site function.
  • g1w_view - first-party analytics ID, expires after 1 year. Used to deduplicate page views.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, third-party retargeting cookies or cross-site profiling networks.

Third-party services

When you click an affiliate link to FatPirate, you leave fatpiratehub.example and enter the destination operator's domain. Their privacy policy applies from that point. We have no control over what FatPirate or any partner network collects after you click through. Read FatPirate's privacy policy before depositing.

Your GDPR rights

If you are in the EU, UK or another jurisdiction with comparable data-protection law, you have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you (mostly server logs tied to your IP)
  • Erase any data we hold about you
  • Restrict or object to processing for analytics
  • Lodge a complaint with your national data-protection authority (ICO in the UK, CNIL in France, AEPD in Spain)

To exercise these rights, email [email protected] with your IP address (or approximate request time) so we can locate the relevant records. Response within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if we change our cookie set, add a new third-party service, or alter our data-retention windows. Material changes are dated at the bottom. Last reviewed: May 19, 2026.
